Our first Cultural Arts Assemblies of 2020 took place on Friday January 17. Sir Isaac Newton made a guest appearance to talk to students about his life and how he changed the world of science.
On Friday December 13, all ECS students grades K-5th, got to enjoy a program from the NC Museum of Natural Sciences Outreach Programs, sponsored by the school PTA Cultural Arts.
Just before the holiday break (December 17-19), our 5th grade students enjoyed a 3-day workshop led by Natalie and Alfredo (a Purple Heart Wounded Warrior) from the Black Box Dance Theater company.
Our first cultural arts assembly, Japanese Magical Journey took place this past Friday! Students were treated to a performance by Yasu Ishida, an award-winning magician and storyteller.
