We will observe Staff Appreciation Week May 2 through 6, 2022. While we are thankful for our staff every single day, we take this week as a special opportunity to celebrate the teachers, instructional assistants, cafeteria workers, counselors, administrators and other employees who create a safe, supportive environment for our students.
The PTA Staff Appreciation Committee has compiled a brief list of simple, inexpensive ways to recognize your child’s favorite Northwoods employees. Please consider the daily themes as suggestions. There are many ways to express gratitude, and the most memorable ones are those that come from the heart.

Monday, May 2: Use the day off from school to write a thank-you note to your favorite staff person.
Tuesday, May 3: Give the thank-you note to your favorite staffer. Share smiles and high fives with everyone!
Wednesday, May 4: Wear your teacher’s favorite color or dress like your favorite staff person.
Thursday, May 5: Give your teacher a sweet compliment or a sweet treat.
Friday, May 6: Bring a piece of fruit to your favorite staff person to fuel their weekend in a healthy way!
