Cultural Arts Assembly – Japanese Magical Journey

Our first cultural arts assembly, Japanese Magical Journey took place this past Friday! Students were treated to a performance by Yasu Ishida, an award-winning magician and storyteller. Maybe you have heard your students talk about the definition of emojis, or the story of the moon princess, or the magic of cherry blossom petals floating like snow flakes? If not, ask your students about any of these!

To learn more about Yasu Ishida and his performance, you can visit his website at: https://www.yasutheatre.com

This performance was just one of several Cultural Arts activities scheduled throughout the year. To find out more about our PTA sponsored Cultural Arts program, as well as the current 2019-2020 schedule, check out our Cultural Arts page!
