Our PTA works to provide an annual yearbook at the end of each school year. While the yearbook does cost money (around $20), this program is not intended as a fundraiser. The goal is to provide a fun and colorful book at the lowest possible cost to families.
In addition, each year 5th graders participate in a contest to select the cover artwork!
Several PTA yearbook parent volunteers will move on to middle school with their kids in the next few years. We need parent volunteers to help create our school yearbook!! This position is a great way to get to know other students, parents, and staff members while creating a cherished keepsake for our NWES students. Duties involve organizing the 5th-grade yearbook cover competition in October, collecting pictures, designing and editing yearbook pages in the Plicbooks software (vendor provided), and communicating with Strawbridge. Experience in graphic design is optional but helpful.
