ECS Cultural Arts workshop
On Friday December 13, all ECS students grades K-5th, got to enjoy a program from the NC Museum of Natural Sciences Outreach Programs, sponsored by the school PTA Cultural Arts.

Just before the holiday break (December 17-19), our 5th grade students enjoyed a 3-day workshop led by Natalie and Alfredo (a Purple Heart Wounded Warrior) from the Black Box Dance Theater company.
Cultural Arts Assembly – Japanese Magical Journey
Our first cultural arts assembly, Japanese Magical Journey took place this past Friday! Students were treated to a performance by Yasu Ishida, an award-winning magician and storyteller.
2019-20 Run and Done Fundraiser
It’s time for a fun Run & Done! Northwoods PTA is collecting donations in support of our students and staff to fund all of the programs and events that benefit the school community year-round.
2019-20 Recess in the Garden!
We have started our Recess in the Garden program for the fall. This is a time for children to water, weed, harvest and enjoy the garden. We need adult registered volunteers to help.
